Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
Can we have Naruto banned for tampering with a mod contest's results?

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
I'm sort of surprised that people took this poll seriously enough to mess it up. There's not really any sort of physical prize or anything.

Quote: Thank you, we have already counted your vote. Can't. *EDIT* Oh well, doesn't really matter. Strange Plant in 1st, MC6AC in 2nd, 3rd was... Drop Crab? Brain Crab? Don't remember.

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
Just redo all the voting using a different site, even if we don't get all the old proper votes back it's better than nothing.

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
Any site other than this one is subject to hacks, since it's done using a different method than registered users. The one I had used cookies, and other sites wouldn't be able to do much better.

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
Maybe you could make an alt and everyone pms that user account with their vote in their title? That would get it all listed out and confirm that only legitimate forum members have voted, and it would be obvious if anyone tried voting multiple times.
A tad inconvenient for counting though.

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
But then you would prevent people (like lurkers) from voting. They download and try the mods, so there is no reason to exclude them from the vote.
(Like my brother and a somewhat good sized amount of people at my school whom all enjoy the game but can't be assed to make an account. One of them made an account one day purely for the sake of trolling. *sigh*)

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
Say I got this bloody good idea today: Since nobody won, we can chooce the next theme by letting each participant of this contest suggest a theme and then we all vote for the one we want.
Since off-site polls are no good, we can do it manually, so one guy starts a topic and counts each vote given by each poster. Just like in the old days lol.

Re: Mod Contest 6 | Vote!
What if someone makes preperations for the theme they think is going to win, and then they'll have an advantage? Other than that, I like that idea.
