Wiki vandalised
Someone has helpfully vandalised the Activities page on the Cortex Command wiki at http://wiki.datarealms.com/wiki/index.p ... vities.ini . If anyone can remove that and replace it with the correct information it would be of great help to the community.

Re: Wiki vandalised
Clearly, the act of a spambot. Replacing it right now would be useless, as it would just be vandalized instantly. Someone needs to make it impossible for guests to edit it, else this will just continue. Edit: Also, here's the last working page. http://wiki.datarealms.com/wiki/index.p ... oldid=4810And that was back in July last year. The spambot raping began at January 23rd 2010.

Re: Wiki vandalised
It's been constantly under attack, I noticed. Not just on that page but on very nearly every page.

More information about how irrelevant the wiki system has become.

Re: Wiki vandalised
Maybe some thought needs to go into how to prevent this, perhaps all entries to the wiki are not posted till they have been reviewed?
Ooh and all pending submissions should have the authors name.

Re: Wiki vandalised
That would kind of defeat the point of a Wiki. It would essentially be a forum. I think the Wiki really ought to just be started from scratch and a new strategy for organization renewed.

Re: Wiki vandalised
I think perhaps this belongs in site support/feedback, on second review.

Re: Wiki vandalised
Just delete the god damn wiki.
No one uses it, no one cares about it, we have more information in sticky posts on this forum than we do on the wiki.

Re: Wiki vandalised
the only useful thing on the wiki is the lua documentation, which is terribly formatted at best and hideous at worst
