Re: [WIP] Of Skulls and Souls
Minor Update: Ok, so for the past half hour I couldn't get the idea of a Behemoth sized skeleton out of my head. So, naturally, I get a Skeleton head out of the Behemoth (see what I did there?). The Head (And 2x View): The Process: Having a large actor already really eases the process of these things.

Re: [WIP] Of Skulls and Souls
Looks really good. The back looks a little plain, maybe add some effects there? Perhaps cracks that glow red or something, because the front looks textured and detailed while the back is smooth.

Also maybe some amount of outlining?

Re: [WIP] Of Skulls and Souls
Ok, I added an outline and the only color I could find in palette that would fit the cracks in the bone. I didn't like the red idea, I'd like to keep it looking like a skull. Is this better or worse? I may need to lighten the outline, but that's cake.

Looks better. For the cracks, I was expecting a large crack, almost a tear, but that's just me.

The outline is good, but those cracks are horrible. I was more expecting a dark, Large crack going from the back of the skull to the side.

Well, I'll say it's good enough. And just asking, are we gonna see arms and legs made of smaller skeleton bones or are we just going to get a giant's reanimated skeleton?

Good idea, good sprite, but the cracks look like veins to me. Otherwise great

Otherwise great I'm not completely happy with the cracks either, but I should switch the focus back to the necromancer for now. I'll come back to the giant skeleton later and add darker cracks. carriontrooper wrote: Well, I'll say it's good enough. Not sure why you'd ask if I'd shop up a lot of tiny skeleton bones to comprise his body. Just thinking of that makes a pretty silly image. As for the rest of the bones they will be pretty much large "accurate" skeleton bones (without getting compulsive about it).

Re: [WIP] Of Skulls and Souls
I think the giant skeleton should be a fossil (like in the Zombie Cave mission) because it is a bit more logical that and you could make it a crazy looking extinct creature like a... BITCHIN DINOSAUR !!! that and the palate has better colors to match up with that theme. Will you be using the animated glows for this because that would be badass.

BITCHIN DINOSAUR !!! that and the palate has better colors to match up with that theme I previously made most of the sprites for an actor of the fossil in the tutorial (alieny trexy thing), and I sent them to lfow in case he wanted them, and hasn't responded. Raptors are bitchin too, and easier than huge trexs, so skeletal raptors would be neat and a more modest goal in this mod. But the spriting would need to be done originally. I hardly see how steampunk applies here, carrion. But have you played Morrowind: Tribunal? It has steampunk raptors, kinda.

No offense, but this is getting insurmountably off topic.
Please stick to the theme of this mod, which at this moment does not include Steampunk or Dinosaurs.

Furthering progress made on the necro. Robes are placeholders. Have to use fun tricks to get the robe in front of the leg without it rotating. Oh yeah, added a Bone Scythe.
