Both Pulpy and Resplendance's enchantments work on a runes inscribed into the surface of the weapon. This makes it immune to practically all anti-magic anythings, unless you physically cover the rune. So, if it got covered in mud, and a bit got lodged into the runes carved into the weapon, THEN it would cease function.
