Right, so some initial comments, as CC just crashed, forcing me to stop playing <_<
-overall effects and all: A++, obviously. The attention to detail was very nice, I enjoyed the smokey, pretty but not particleraping explosions and most of the effect splashes, however the plasma gun felt it should leave some more sparklies, it vanished too soon, or so it seemed.
-balance: more powerful than vanilla for the most part, but balanced for the price, and not too elite so as to make it unfun.
-tank: very cool way of aiming, though it seems it could have scrolled a tad slower, but that's just being picky. I wasnt expecting the aim system, but I didnt resent it.
-Unit change system: very nice, you can double outfit units but I arent complaining about that.

Overall I experienced no lag, and was very much enjoying myself until some dumb bot stood on >9k grenades or something, as there was a huge splash of particles and then a memory fail. Pretty sure it's unrelated.

Notes:
Shotgun is awesome, I'm going to investigate the range though. If it's as far as I think it is, some of the particles should likely self-nerf so as to not make it the ultimate raep cannon. Feels grunty as though :D
Laser Cannon and Rifle were both lovely. Both, Rifle especially needed more sharprange though ;-;
RPG: loved it. got me a crazy shark dude and shot not too powerful but good enough rockets at my foes.
Support Rifle: interesting mechanic, worked very well. the spinning effect was awesome :D

I found out the weakness of the Crobo... high mass munitions. ( a heavy sniper can rip off all the armor off a mint condition Heavy Crobo )

What does the support beam cannon thing do? All I can see is a blue trail, and nothing happens when it hits infantry, and dreadnoughts.

Crab Tank is buggy. I tried to switch after trying it out, and it crashed, Lua error style. But, that is by far the most competant and beautiful ACrab I've ever seen. And I haven't even gotten to the troops.

Well, Crobos can survive direct explosions, but they are in pieces afterwards.

Either the Particle Disruption Rifle isn't working, or I'm not using it correctly.

K, machine gun rapes terrain a little but I suppose that's alright.
I want some missions for these guys..
Need to test out firing on them now, need to make an activities >_<

Also I laughed at the headsplosions.

I love the polish that went into the tank. It's officially the only crab I have ever meant to order.

I also love the mortar/artillery effect. I was trying to reproduce something similar for the original Dread Launcher and failed miserably. I love the targeting reticule and everything. My only complaint is it's sometimes very very mouse touchy, but I love it. Just sit back and watch the very beautiful explosion.

Although I was already privy to all the features of the new Crobos since you showed us over the last year, this is definitely a treat to play them. Thanks bubs.

Hrmm. The Crobos no longer seem like the mass murdering death merchants I've come to know and love. They are much easier to kill, and the weapons got nerfed mostly. The RPG is also very unreliable. I've had it hit a Coa trooper in the head, and it just broke the helmet. Not even a scratch on the Coa himself.

I believe I remember him stating that he felt his originals were too overpowered and he didn't want an OP faction. Just a highly polished, more well balanced to vanilla faction, and to that goal I think he kept very well.

Yeah, they are definately on par with Vanilla now. Mostly.
But I miss having an entire faction devoted to being over the top and specializing in breaking things, and not being broken. There really aren't many factions out there that can achieve that sense of "Haha, you puny little clones with your puny little guns, I am a Crobo! Your weapons do not hurt me!" Imagine this with a russian accent by the way.
