Big update progress wise.
Gibs just about finished. Sneak peak here:

Also finalized the Revolver. Looks much better:

And finally, I'm unveiling the new "core" of the Behemoth. The Heart. The Heart is a Brain Casing for the Behemoth. I'm testing the Behemoth right now with this heart underneath the ribcage, and using a false head and using null breakwounds. Basically trying to get him to where you can blow off all his limbs, even head, and he won't die! The heart will be the only way to stop this monster, and to do that you have to blow off all that armor!
Heart is shown here:

Working on other exciting things so stay tuned.

Heart sprite is beautiful and a fitting addition around Valentines Day.

Awesome idea. Make it so that you can rip the heart out of the Behemoth's chest, using the Punisher's crush fist.

This.
Maybe make it if you shoot some weak spot then the heart is exposed briefly.

I love all this rivalry, which giant actor tank is stronger.
It just makes the two sides work harder to make the mod stronger and better.

Pretty sure I've stated once already nothing I do here is to out do anyone else. These are ideas that pop in my head and apply to my mods.

Besides, the punisher is a shameless ripoff of the Behemoth

I'm not saying the punisher is better, I'm saying it has a weapon specially adapted to, and in this case perfect for, lifting/ripping a chunk out of another actor. Like a point blank version of that grappling gun that came out a while ago.

Oh wow I didn't know mods were allowed to be un-neutral like that.

Btw, how many weapons are planned? Personally whenever I use (excuse me for perpetuating this comparison-fest) the Punisher, I immediately delete all but 2 or 3 weapons. I think that, as you have previously stated, that too many weapons can be cumbersome. But I know I see a revolver and am hearing about a super laser. How do you plan to keep them from overlapping and creating redundancy?

To answer Contrary, Variants.
Different weapon sets will be set on different variants of the Behemoth meant for different roles.
Currently I have solid plans for 2-3 variants:
Standard: Revolver, Shotgun, Rocket Fist, Secret!
Heavy Fire: Dread Launcher, Heavy Laser, Gatling Gun
Support: Repair Device, Digging Device, Shield

Alternatively I'll have them as buy menu options that I'll somehow fudge into being Behemoth only equipment choices, allowing for customization of each Behemoth like a normal actor, vs. dumping every Behemoth only weapon on every Behemoth ordered.

-WEAPON BREAKDOWN-
Current line-up of weapons:
-Rocket Fist
-Shotgun
-Dread Launcher

Upcoming weapons:
-Revolver
-Heavy Laser
-Secret!

Drawn out in concept on paper but unsprited:
-Sniper Rifle or similar
-Digging device or some alternate way to gain gold
-Healing/Repairing device
-Gatling Gun or similar
-Palm-generated Shield
-Dummy Factory Control Uplink
-Teleportation Device/Gun/Function

As you can see lots of ideas floating around. Nothing I can promise to be solid of course but just stuff compiled from different sheets I've amassed over development of the Behemoth.

That's a good solution, looks really good. Giant digger sounds kinda silly, though.

I'd like to respond to some earlier posts in the interest of making a few points clear:

This would be like someone recoloring Darlos' Darkstorms, giving them a similar but more powerful weapon set, upping their durability level, calling them Lightstorms, then going to Darlos and asking him to add functionality to his mod to make it cooler for people to kill Darkstorms with Lightstorms.

I'm not going to cater to a Behemoth vs. Punisher duel-type just because someone copied my mod.

The Punisher is a separate mod with a separate creator. Leave it out of this thread.

I want to set something straight: I do not consider Foogoo's copy of my mod my rival.
I don't even measure either of our mods on the same level. I made the Behemoth to be somewhat balanced, but big and fun to run around with in a faction of otherwise super-weak actors.
The Punisher is not balanced. It doesn't fit with the faction it is in. Every GibImpulse and JointStrength value is somewhere in the 1 billion or 1 trillion range. I can't compare our mods because they are not built in the same niche, which is why the Punisher was created in the first place.

I designed the sprites carefully to try to fit in with the Dummy's color scheme (the Behemoth was first conceived out of a dropship Gib, and the inner circuitry was expanded from the blue animated circuitry around Prom's Dummy controller).
I also designed the weapons to reflect the Dummy's themes of energy weapons (Shotgun), experimental weapons (Rocket Fist) (Dread Launcher), and kinetic weapons. Everything ties together in my head and that is how I design this mod.

If you simply want a big overpowered actor, you won't find it here. Foogoo filled the numgun niche pretty well. It's the best mod of that kind of power level since he pulled AAL off the shelf.

STOP FLAMING AGAINST NOTHING LFOW YOU'RE COMING OFF AS A BUTTHURT RAGEMUFFIN EVEN IF I LIKE "THE ORIGINAL" MORE.
we all know he used your mod as the base for his. we know its a giant tweaked resprite. some people like it more, and most mods are just that with vanilla content anyway. live with it, or cry more and post pics, either one.

Now, topic:
Heart sprite is awesome, you could get slightly more seamlessness into the anim by having the "pump" of energy start before it has left, so you get movement at both "ends" symultaneously. easily done with a lighter colour mask and some duplication.
Amazing effect though, very polished, though the energy should be flowing out of, not into the heart. for more biological accuracy/mind numbing respriting you could make it come in and go out different tubes, rather than all going the same way. I'm assuming its a generator, and therefore not biological at all, but still, energy "flows" in current, similar to a liquid in a vascular system but _way_ faster.
tl:dr; energy is going the wrong way, make the anim start before it finishes for extra points.

I like the variants Idea but I'm wondering weather it's too much for you to maintain. We'll see as time progresses I suppose. Keep it up, rage less.

Regarding the 'rage', though I'd hardly call it that, I don't need this thread becoming a battlegrounds between the two mods. It's important enough to me to make it a clear point.

Secondly, regarding the heart, though it doesn't function as a heart for the purpose of the Behemoth, as it is acting as the brain casing, you are right. Both tubes are flowing in. The one behind the heart that flows over the surface into the vein-like tendril is coming in. I can resprite the effect so the other tube is going out. As for starting the next pump before one ends, I left it like that intentionally for there to be a slight pause between 'pumps' for a more heartbeat-ish effect. It's easy to modify either way.

I'll post a modified animation shortly.
