If your computer won't let you extract to your Cortex Directory, go google how to fix that. Most likely you don't have administrator privileges.

You would also get better help on how to sprite from elsewhere. I suggest googling "Spriting tutorial".

Your solution fixes the problem where Cortex cannot find them, where if this person is right, he cannot extract files from a compressed archive, which to me says no privileges.

If your using vista (which annoys me) you can disable the user setting by going to control panel/ user accounts / turn user accounts on or off

When I got my computer I spent the first hour googling how to disable vista's more annoying features.

i downloaded cortex command off some random site...and ist called something like cortex commandB23...and ive got winrar and i have to go to a folder and then go to another one and finally click the cortex command thingy and it loads and i play....i cant get it to work....the site was thepiratebay.com..i think...and i had to use crappy utorrent program too...it was annoying to get a friggan copy of cortex command...which is worth it but i hope you see my point..Also what is gobbong and how do you do it????

First of all, download it from here.

Second of all, delete the other copy and do a virus scan.

Third, install from the executable you downloaded from step 1. Ensure you have administrator privileges for the directory that Cortex is installed to.

Then see if you have any more luck, come back only after you have followed all of the above.

lol.. Reboot computer and try again.
If all else fails, delete cc. and Reinstall to desktop.

i figured it out...i have cc b23 and cc demo...
1.download mod
2.extract to demo version
3.from the demo version extract that file over to the full version

Perhaps someone should get banned for using a pirated copy.

Also dragonxp, the demo can load mods but it claims on the screen that you can't unless you register your game (by purchasing it).
