re: Weasel,
Or like, rule enforcement. As opposed to moderators blatantly ignoring off-topic, necroing, and flaming rules.

Tomaster for mod '10! I have no problems with the mod team personally, Duh seems helpful, and it seems like he does a decent enough job of deciding what needs to be locked, deleted, etc. My two cents.

In my opinion; anarchy. No moderation team just do whatever the ♥♥♥♥.
Because really, no matter who comes into power, who leaves power, we will always complain like children. Give us the tools of our own destruction so that we may see just how good a job our moderators really do.

Re: Our moderating team (mostly) sucks.
We have 4 inactive moderators, 2 part-time, and 1 active.
I rarely see TLB, Zalo, Alenth, or Dauss do much moderation, at least that I can see, or attribute. Seraph and p3l are rarely on the forum, at least that I can see. Duh is the most active, at least that I can see.
I'd say right now we have one moderator, and I doubt that is enough to keep the forum at peak-performance.
I have no idea who, but we need some active moderators.

Re: Our moderating team (mostly) sucks.
Alenth and I haven't been doing anything because we haven't had moderator permissions since the forum went down. Weasel has fixed that, so we should be a little more help from now on.

Re: Our moderating team (mostly) sucks.
Alenth and TLB help me out on a lot of stuff in the background. Just because you don't see things happening doesn't mean they aren't there. and I re-iterate: as bad as it may seem, it's as good as it can possibly be. If anyone disagrees and thinks that ____ should be a moderator, send me a PM (no public posts please). But from where I'm sitting, I don't want anyone else with that kind of power.

Sorry I've been quiet for a while, uni work is dragging me away from you, my brethren. ProjektTHOR wrote: re: Weasel,

And what exactly is a warning going to do to any older members? I'm quite lenient, but if you guys want us to pull the reigns a bit more I'll try and do just that. (By the way, my MSN is theenglishguru [at] hotmail [dot] com, If I'm on my laptop I most probably will reply. so instant justice is just a few clicks away!)

Re: Our moderating team (mostly) sucks.
It's mostly one nooberator not dealing with blatantly infringing upon rules, probably due to bias.
