 However, well, let's say I'm a picky person, I think this ain't very polished. I think a balance is needed in keeping things true to MS, while throwing in some CC properties.
 Suggestions:
 -Too much terrain rape, especially for the basic soldier's rifle.
 -Bullets go straight, which, is true to the original metal slug, but it's strange/overpowered in CC. Needs some reduce in bullet speed, make them more comparable to other CC guns.
 -The Ptolemaic soldiers jump way too high. Give them jetpacks or make their jump like the sniper. Also, the Brave variant is slicing inhumanly fast, even though he has two knives.
 -Mechs need a way to jump/fly.
 
 EDIT: But I god damn love the MS scenery, nearly forgot to mention.

The Decaying Soldat@: I'm agreed about the terrain rape, perhaps I'll have to use some script in the bullet particle what makes it dissapear when touch terrain... The common bullets are specially strong because I was balacing it against Vault-Tec activities... have you fought against the ptolemaic in the jungle or the fabric? those mothertruckers fall from sky, the brave perhaps slices too fast but in game you haven't any chance if they get closed, I wanted to parody that frustration when you get some insta-cut... the sniper its skilled shooting but clumsy when moving... The claw mech have some kind of anti-gravity device in the game, wich allow him to flow by the air and arrive in front of you, if people wants also can be used in Chaingun mech but I don't think it will be faithful to game... Thanks I also liked those tribal modules

 using this faction for defense is a pain.
 Otherwise. Using this faction for offense operation is a epic WIN.
 it's not like in the Metal Slug game. In the game, They are used for defensive operation.

First of all, I don't want to sound too nit picky, but this problem I believe must be addressed. Sometimes, the Hazmat trooper's helm, legs, and other body parts experience something strange when the actor faces left, they shrink to a lower size for a second then come back to the original size subsequently. When the actor faces right the problem seems to vanish. With that problem aside, I must say that this is an excellent mod!
 EDIT2: The problem could happen on either side!
 
 EDIT: Could you make the Mech's weapons destructible? The weapons clog up the screen when the mech dies.

I think that situation its like the original game, their defences are easy to rush but when you have to hold waves and waves... its terrible hard for enemy =) anyway, use the tanks for defence, they are very strong compared with vanilla. Thanks, I never noticed about that problem, you have to understand, its very different the sprite management between MS original game and cortex command, if you could explain it better, I would take a look... About making the mech-guns destructible, please, play metal slug

   |   Re: Metal Slug FactionUnfortunately, you cannot use tinypic for a forum avatar, unless the image is a .jpg in the first place. All tinypic images come with a .jpg extension in the direct link even if you uploaded a .png or .gif, and the board doesn't like that.

   |   Re: Metal Slug Faction  Here is a picture of my previously mentioned problem. First image is the normal hazmat trooper, second is the shrunk hazmat trooper. At times, the hazmat trooper's helm, hands, etc... may shrink and revert back to normal size quickly. I hope this post clears up some confusion regarding the problem. Edit: About the Mech gun's being destructible, I only meant that the guns should be destructible when the mech dies, because of the fact that the mech leaves it's guns stuck on the screen when its dead. Maybe add some function that just destroys the weapons automatically on death? The function should be similar to how Foogooman's Punisher destroys its weapons automatically upon death. I hope this clears some stuff up.   Edit2: And yes, I have played Metal Slug.
