Question to all. Is threaded map sending (eliminates the big bunch of lag you get when people try to join all at once) worth losing /quote, for the time being?

We don't have many quotes yet, so I guess. As long as it isn't permanent.

It would likely be gone until the devs of MinerCPP call the project finished (or in release stage). If they announce scripting, that would also be a milestone to wait for.

Two part reason.
1. The initial ban was because I found an area of the flatgrass map flooded between backups, and you were the only one logged. This led me to the conclusion that you had flooded it.
2. I kept the ban because I feel you have a negative impact on the server's other users.


And since nobody else has said anything, I shall commence upgrade immediately. Or as immediately as I get to it.

We talked about this, and I was under the impression I was clear. Also, people love me. I am a huge people person.

S'okay, I don't really play this any more anyway. Novelty wears off.

And testing server has been upgraded. Sand physics have apparently been added as well, going to see if I like them before I keep them in for good.
EDIT: nvm that, there are no sand physics, just a toggle for them.

what time (+time zone) do you guys play?

We're all across the board. I typically get on (if I get on at all) to the test server at around 4-10pm EST.

Huzzah for EST. Yeah, I usually check on once or twice a day, and stay if anyone is there. But Dwarf Fortress ate my soul, so don't expect to see much of me lately.

I found a pocket of the stuff close to the surface, and made the basic tools. This was back when we didn't have any fancy pants recipes for TNT or wooden bowls, or any silly frivolity like that. WE HAD STICKS AND STONES AND BROKEN BONES, AND WE MADE SHOVELS OUT OF THEM!
