Df succession game.
After the suggestion of a DF succession game I've decided to set one up. There are many spots in the world, but the mountainhomes have decided upon: A Haunted mountain range with goblins right around the corner: I chose play now as the embark, so the dwarves are underprepared for their adventure into the unknown. Post containing the most recent save: viewtopic.php?f=82&t=17639Player list: Duh102: Year one- established fortress. GI: year two Pokemaughn: Year three. Alenth: year four (I'm assuming you want to play since you never answered me in IRC) Allstone: year five Raziel: year six.

Glacier has nothing interesting except skeletal elk and surviving without any ♥♥♥♥ resources. Grasslands has an aquifer but at least it has stuff to work with. You managed to find a mountain with no trees. Somehow the forest doesn't have an aquifer, and claims to have stone. Won't have any magma.
I sort of prefer the forest even though it might be terrible. Make sure that an enemy civ can reach us, too.

Re: Df succession game.
Alright since Skiv posted first it's the haunted mountains.
For extra fun we'll just use the play now function.
Duh102: Have fun setting it up:

Ah crap, not carefully planned. Well at least we have useful randomly generated people. Embark supplies/dorfsI'll write up after things happen. EDIT: Scratch that, I counted carpenters as useful. Three wood and two carpenters is not useful.

If you would like I could list the hidden features on the map.

I'll take whatever I can get. Minor update, I settled next to a brook that's in the east of the area, being close to water and mud will help out a lot I think. Going to dig a tunnel for an in-fortress well if I have time. Power for magma pumps (I'm certain there's magma in this mole dog infested waste) too from the brook.

I think this should go in the Dorf Fortwess thread...
...seeing as it's about Dorf Fortwess.
No reason to have two threads about the same topic.

Re: Df succession game.
This is about a specific succession game, not the game at large, so I don't see why there would be a problem with two threads, besides one getting a loss of views per day.

No reason to have two threads about the same topic. you asked for the same thing in the Minecraft thread and didn't get it that time either

Re: Df succession game.
Mkay. I'm pretty bad at this game, so I'm incapable of surviving stuff like that. I'll drop out.
