Frank is knocked backwards by the blast, his zombified flesh resisting flame, but stunned none the less.

rjhw1 [2-1=1]: You jump over and in front of MLC, to try and protect him from Rage, who is barreling down the island towards the two of you as you watch. You try to develop telepathy in the meantime to help stop Rage on his own territory, but before you can even so much as close your eyes, wiffles blasts you with his Eye Beams, and you go sprawling backwards onto the sand, leaving MLC open to attack.

Tomaster [3+1=4]: At the last moment before Rage got to MLC, you swoop down from the sky, and grab his upper half, just barely dodgin Rage's assault because of your bonus to dodge while flying. Rage comes within inches of severing your wing with a crude telekinetic blade, and if you had been a second sooner or later, both you and MLC would be cleaved in two by the blade. After a quick midair dodge of Rage and a rock, you fly off toward the denser jungle where you can heal MLC without constant assault. You don't have anything to heal him with though, so you take off again, and quietly retrieve his legs so that MLC can just regenerate with them somehow.

Benpasko [6]: NO! HE'S MINE!Rage leaps after Tomaster, furious for being denied his kill, and in his anger is outmanouvered by Tomaster, who stops and reverses in mid air, while Rage continues up, then comes to a stop at the tip of his arc, and finally falls back down to earth, impacting the sand and forming a large crater with a muffled whump. Rage picks up and throws a small boulder after Tomaster, but once again Tomaster's aerial skill saves him.

Foa [5]: When Rage charged at MLC, you jumped off to the side to get ammo. When you see Rage slam into the ground after falling out of the sky, you decide that you've gathered enough stuff, and run towards the crater. About 100 feet away from where Rage landed, you jump into the air, so that you soar directly over Rage. As you do, you fire the shards of metal and stone you collected at rage, rapid fire, practically detonating the sand around Rage, though every shot's aim is true. Rage seems to be somehow deflecting your attacks with his Telekinesis! As you come down from your jump, you hear a dull boom from off the side of the island.

Game Event: Rage stands in the pit formed from his impact, resolving to incinerate the entire island through force of will, when a line of fire thunders into existance between his shoulder and the distant sky off the island. The attack doesn't pierce Rage's shields, but he does spin around from the force of the blow. As Rage begins to stop spinning, a blue streak screams in out of the sky from where the shot originated, flying towards Rage.
Piercer of the Heavens!
In less than the span of a second, 11 red slashes erupt into existance between Rage and the blue streak, now furiously assaulting Rage at point blank. None of the attacks pierce through, once again, but every slash pushes Rage back across the sand a few feet.
Butenko Reisen!!!
The moment the words come into existance, Rage is blasted backwards by a blow of kinetic energy, concentrated into one powerful blow to Rage's chest. He goes flying backwards, scything through the sand, and leaving a tremendous trench in the ground, then hits inland, ripping up dirt and smashing trees, all while barely slowing. Rage finally comes to rest after going all the way over the island and back into the water on the other side.
Heh. If only it were so easy. Alrighty boys, we have a monster to kill, and an ego to deflate!
As the smoke from the barrage clears, it reveals a form standing in the Rage's crater. The form resolves into a women, about 23 years old, dressed in clothing with metal plates riveted on as greaves, bracers, gauntlets, and a breastplate. She wields a sword, combining styles from english longswords and oriental blades, made of a matte gold metal.

I start shooting arrows at Ben- Even though I'm severed in two I still have arms, and a bow & quiver attached to my back.

If Tomaster can get me to my legs I'll ask him to stand up my legs and put me on them.

MLC, you have no legs. How would you sit upright to fire the bow, without all of your internal parts spilling out? I recommend you sit back and watch why I'm still the best.
