Re: Art Dump
how so, without a point of reference. just curious because my eyes can't see it. is it the leg length to torso ratio or something?

Re: Art Dump
The pelvis should be in the center of it. he looks like he has feet that are too short, which in turn makes him look like a dwarf.

The man has short legs, making him look like a dwarf and the woman's legs look about right, but she's as tall as his shoulders (Making her look very very short).

Re: Art Dump
eh, i like stocky guys. or at least drawing them. the skinny bishoujo image of manga has never been favored by me, even though i'm pretty thin myself.
actually i looked at the pelvis, and judging by the belt, which should be at his waist, i would say the pelvis is pretty close to centered. although it could stand to go a bit higher.
but thanks for the input, it really does help.

Re: Art Dump
Blender's renderer isn't very great, but it's gotten optimization and better bump mapping. Here's a rock sponge. This is a dump.

Re: Art Dump
Yeah, shading is not one of my good sides. I made this in class when I was bored. One of my friends asked me to add the nipples, so yeah. Speaking of shading

More 3D, anyone? It is a futuristic rifle with a bullpup configuration. All objects and UV-maps are 100% made by me. EDIT: wireframes are here: http://idzr.org/dcwe

You made that? That's amazing! Also, now I'm filled with the urge to sprite that.
