I am very much liking that last iso but maybe just a hair less overall cliff-faces. Like, the overall cliff design is fantastic and if you kept it around one winding "river" I would love you forever

That's actually a heightmap of the Grand Canyon, or a section of it at least, branch and all.
I can try lopping that branch off but I fear the face that results will look... smooth, which would be somewhat unnatural compared to the rest.

Ehh, it's perfectly fine. I did ask for the Grand Canyon, and you certainly delivered, so I can't say I'm displeased.

Well if nobody objects, I'll place the date of switch to tomorrow at 12:00 midnight GMT. Perhaps I'll manage to finally get that pack of maps together as well.

EDIT: Screw that, I'll do it now. I have to change the size of the map though, server had a fit when I tried to join it with the current size. I'm thinking, expand the canyon's size some, then make it slightly shorter. Perhaps a funky res like 256x320x256.

The peaceful town of Duhburg overlooks the entire valley area. Several rather tall creations are strewn about the map, as are the majestic glass bridges that connect the valley halves.

it seems that Notch upgraded map auto-generation a bit.

Fixed, somehow the map data was broken. Server must have restarted in the middle of a save.

EDIT: At 5:51pm eastern, our girl:guy ratio was 1:1. I think this is a triumph of some sort.

That would be because the two servers use different white lists, and I don't believe you requested test server white list. I'll go whitelist you there now.
