Re: Art Dump
Wings3D owns every other subdivision modeler unless you're actually good at using blenderYafray for rendering, untextured as you can see.

Re: Art Dump
Tommy gun. Got smart this time and actually used a reference pic. Still bad, but not so much, I guess. This oughta receive some real C&C now, right?

Re: Art Dump
Well, I like the drum, but the barrel and stock are off. Also, you didn't put a handle on it. As far as I know a Tommy Gun is a Thompson, so here's a picture you could use if you wanted a better reference.

Re: Art Dump
I concur. Grif is clearly the best modeller in this thread. And with what looks like Google sketchup too!

Only 7 hours? You used the clone stamp and filters, didn't you. Noob.

Re: Art Dump
Love the detail hate the line gradients, I assume you'll dither soon? Your lighting is pretty nice too.

Re: Art Dump
Not dithering but I probably will add more colors to smooth out the slide, the real challenge comes with the checkered grips which I plan on doing one by one, trying to get every little detail from my reference.

Re: Art Dump
Blah I can't pose anything right or draw the lines fairly cleanly, much less detail things like crazy... Does anyone have "painting" tutorials?
