[*]What is it?

Eclipse Phase is a pen-and-paper RPG designed for transhuman horror and conspiracy campaigns.
It's also a game that was released under the Creative Commons License, so people can redistribute the .pdf all over the place legally.

The standard campaign setting makes the players members of a secret organization called Firewall that deals with threats to transhumanity, namely the TITANs, the Exsurgent Virus, and TERRORISTS.
The TITANs are a bunch of self-improving AIs that went batshit insane and either directly or indirectly waged war on humanity while forcibly uploading people before disappearing into space, it is rumored that they left through the Pandora Gates, artifacts of an extraterrestrial race that act as the FTL in the setting, near as I can tell. The Exsurgent Virus is a nanovirus that can infect meat and machine alike, and may have been created by the TITANs or aliens.

[*]When are we going to play, and with whom?

Right now, TheClamV2, Kallemort, and Control are known to have interest in playing.

Clam says he wants to do some gatecrashing (go through pandora gates to see the other side for fun, profit, and mental trauma), and Kallemort made a spacecrab mechanic. I have a lot of ideas for what can be done but I am up for just about anything really. Running sessions will be challenging until I can get good schedules for this, so if you're interested (this includes you, calm/kalle/ctrl), please post your timezone and any days/times when you definitely cannot play.

Character sheets should be done using one of the editable character sheets in the download earlier in the post (yes, the .txt file is a character sheet that I made myself). I'll be making a post or something later to explain chargen because for some reason people get really confused with it.

I said I wanted to gatecrash into a spaceship full of insane gatecrashers, don't bend my words!

Holy craperson, it's official.
Well, I'll join, if I can, mainly because I've really been looking forward to this.

Just curious, will this be a roleplaying sorta campaign or will it have lots of combat?

I've never DMed before, as a warning, but I will try to make it interesting for everyone. If people want RP they get RP, if only a few people want RP I can probably deal with that without boring everyone else, if only one person wants to RP it might be awkward.

I'm not all that great at actual RP acting in my opinion, but I can make sure that Savvy-centric characters and such get a chance to shine, at the least.
