Yep, it's randomly chosen from a set of about a dozen images.

This simply looks amazing. Epicly over-powered, but should be fun to play around with. I'll get back to you after my first play-through.

EDIT: My suspicions have proven accurate. Its a lot of fun to make the zombie cave brain robot immortal, then move through the cave armed only with his starting pistol, though the gaps in immortality are a lot more frequent than I had guessed/hoped. Future tool suggestions: various actor and/or item spawners, and, if anyone can ever figure out how, a team changer.

EDIT MK-II: Also, so that this isn't so totally soul crushing for the victim, weapons and bomb that can be used against the cursor, like EMP's or radiojammers. Better yet, laser based weaponry that can be used against normal targets as well. Perhaps some impenetrable bunker modules too.

EDIT MK-III: *sigh* I just got my first bugs. The first was when I tried to do a skirmish with just the FBM and no enemies would spawn, yet the kill count would occasionally & spontaneously rise. Then I right-clicked, and CC crashed. I tried again, this time with two of witty's assault bots, each armed a pulse gun. There were still no spawns, but that was resolved when I switched to a bot, then back again. I was able to play around for a while, when I tried to use the finger of death on one of the bots CC crashed. :-(

Out of curiosity, what map were you playing Skirmish on? I can't imagine how this would be causing enemies to stop spawning.

hey TLB, idea?
Is it possible for you to add a tool that lets you pick up a HDFirearm and shoot it? [i have no idea what youd call it though]

Now if only i can make this crash less.

I could, but how would you aim it?

Move it with wasd, aim with mouse or vice versa.

I'd prefer to allow support for both control schemes, as opposed to forcing both on a play at once.

Why not have it orientate to velocity, and then whilst you hold fire it can be aimed more precicely, think of the wind tool and how you aim that in the powder game.

Sounds like a better solution.

or it could pin the gun to an invisible ACrab and .... and...

Never mind.

Mouse plus keyboard, wasd to move gun plus mouse to aim

Keyboard, wasd move gun and i and k to aim up and down. J to fire.

Just an idea :-P

why not instead of a gun, you could create some sort of explosive/bullet, and then used the gravity cursor to throw/pilot at an enemy

Once on Ketanot Hills, and once on Richlands (both are vanilla maps). I've also played on grasslands, but without the spawning glitch.
