Enjoyed doing it. Depth of field was a bit of a pain, but I found a good method in the end. I cleaned it up as much as I could for you, Jake. Needs more detail, but it was meant to be a quick piece and ended up eating half my night. anyway, comments/criticism/raging are all good.

Lol, Awesome. I love CC fan art so I instantly like this. The bot with the GL looks like a terrorist with balaclava on, haha. Pretty cool seeing someone else's perspective on the 3D CC world.
BTW how do you get so many freakin' DA views, Geti? One year and twice as many as me...

I dont get that many. There's people on there who get like 3k views a day, and have >12k faves on every piece they've ever made.
But it helps to enter contests and post on forums. Eventually people click your links.

In retrospect, the FG bot needs more contrast, as does the rocket.. I laughed when I saw the balaclava though, didn't occur to me that rivets would look like eyes. based on the free crabs blackbot a little, with artistic licences taken everywhere. Glad you like it.

Also, not just lens flare, he used bevel and emboss as well

I'm thoroughly convinced it's an acronym, thank you

first i used, text tool in paint cause, i like paint better for text.
Then i drew the symbol in photoshop, i pasted text on top.
I used neon glow, solarize and light source, and Lens Glare in that order.
Then i finished it with emboss and used the eye candy plugin glass.

Similar process for the dev team.
