Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Alright, these games are amazing, and I recently got the second one for 5 dollars. The gameplay is so satisfying, I practically exploded with joy when I got my first lightsaber. Also, I've heard about a new KotOR MMO in the making.
Discuss.

It's not KOTOR. It's Star Wars: The Old Republic.

I'm pretty sure it's kotor, but regardless, the game is amazing. Discuss nao.

It's not KotOR, it takes place 100 years or so after the events of KotOR2 iirc.

Ohhh, I get it now. I haven't heard much about it, so I didn't realize it wasn't just KotOR Online.

Yeah, I got a lot of fun times out of those games.
Protip: dual keen mandalorian rippers are where it's at. Melee is for chumps.

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
I never found much use for guns, I rolled with a vibrosword until I got my sabre. I felt like KotOR II was too short, though. It ended with so much more potential, which was wasted. For example, on the last planet, why is Mira there? You don't get her in your party, and she does nothing.

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
kotor sucked. It said "play however you want! open universe!" yet I tried to play by never accepting an offensive jedi ability (defensive/non combat only) and the end mission is impossible under such circumstances. I focused the entire game on making my party better (party healing, excellent equipment, etc.) but the last mission they strip away your party and make you combat the end boss by yourself. totally BS.
Kotor2 had huge potential but much-publicized funding problems twoards the end of development. The plot was indeed cut short by their own admission.
I like the concept though. just wish it was better executed.

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
KotOR 2 sucked, mainly because it was THE EXACT SAME THING as the first one. Even the characters were similar, never mind the story.

Huh, I thought both games were great, though a little short.

Can't say the first one was bad, I really enjoyed it, though the second one was pointlessly stretched. I remember being about 10 hours into the game before getting my saber.
Even though the second one is pretty much the same but almost 3 times as long, I can't say it's bad either, because I enjoyed it, though I never got to finish it due to a bug in one of the later missions.
