Blur is a privelage, not a right. Also, what is the point of the movie? I see a rocket exiting the atmosphere, then docking at Tradestar or something, I dunno. Then after that I don't even know whats going on.

Re: KALEM the planet... (Movie)
Is this some sort of a metaphor for an acid trip or something? I didn't really get what was going on after maybe the first 10 seconds.

Suggestions: - Blurring everything doesn't hide low quality artwork. Remove blur, improve art. - A plot.

Re: KALEM the planet... (Movie)
This video's father is the blur tool, and he beats it. joke "borrowed" from cracked.com
And by the way, this is a joke. I recommend practicing some clear, sharp lines, and reworking this.

Re: KALEM the planet... (Movie)
Ok kwl. I thought of an alternative intro for cc, but scince I can't do animation yet I changed it into something way simpler. Just to answer your question: Quote: Blur is a privelage, not a right. Also, what is the point of the movie? I see a rocket exiting the atmosphere, then docking at Tradestar or something, I dunno. Then after that I don't even know whats going on. After the docking we return to the planet where it zooms in on a Coalition base and a battle in the jungle to the right. Then to show the action (Originaly I didn't even intend to add the last part) I just showed one of the explotions in the jungle. Then I zoom in closer and show you the blast effects and fire of it, almost as if someones to run away from it. And in all this heat - someone still stands... A Coalition... Quote: Blur is a privelage, not a right. Yeah I blurred tradestar madias a bit toooo much hey sometimes its hard to see what would look better. Thanks for all the advice.

You should probably use the edit button instead of posting twice.

GloveDude wrote: A semblance of a plot? I guess. Yeah, I gleaned about none of that from this video. All I really got was a rocket went into space, then towards Tradestar Midas, then I thought we had zoomed off to look at deep space or something. EDIT: Mouse wrote: Were you on something when you made this? Ok, Mouse? Seriously? We need to get you looked at. You have only 1 post, even though you've already posted several times, and you somehow teleported your post through time, above Tomaster's.

Re: KALEM the planet... (Movie)
Blurring is an actual skill (in my opinion), I do it by hand I don't press a button that says blur repetively untill the image looks like it got soaked in water. I use dogwaffle there you paint using paint brushes with alpha values (transparencies) which may seem in the end as if the image as a whole was blurred. Believe me I didn't make this in a day. Oh and thanks Eternal for posting the fan art topic that gave me the idea to actualy paint it (the idea for an alternate intro).
Im surley not gana stick to this style forever but I get what you are trying to tell me -less blurrrrrrr more fine pencil detail - hard to do that with dogwaffle though the brush is way to big.
But thanks again for the advice.
