   |   Great Game deals?Well i have had luck when it comes to getting games. With CC i was browsing the forums when i saw a post by thelastbanana titled need mac user or something like that. I have a mac so i clicked. turns out they needed 2 bucks for something to do with the mac build which was just released. i think it ws for the download link. So they were offering a free license key for paying. bam two buck later and im playing CC. i also managed to nab lugaru for free for their christmas giveaway last year. Then got me some world of goo for 5 bucks on their anniversary special. I feel spoiled. So anyone else have a similar story?

   |   Re: Great Game deals? On the contrary, I never get to buy games, as I always want them when they are most expensive (Out of season, not Christmas, etc.) and when the holidays come, i forget that i wanted them.

   |   Re: Great Game deals?I got the Orange Box for 50 AUD recently, which is a pretty good deal.Though it's pretty old, so I guess it doesn't count as much.

   |   Re: Great Game deals?Yeah, video games are stupid to buy here. But it could always be worse.Hmm...
 Erm...
 Well...
 Crap.
I can't think of a way it could be worse without mentioning developing countries and stuff.
EDIT: The exchange rate could be back at 1AUD = 0.75USD, which would probably be worse.

   |   Re: Great Game deals?Australia has relatively crap internet too.And I have a crap internet plan relative to the baseline in Australia.
 So yeah.
Upgrading soon though, and I have to download the game files anyway, because if there's installations on the disks I can't get them to work.
Oh yeah and I'm only 15 too, so the people paying were my parents - they think that the internet is a gargantuan vortex of evil waiting to steal their money.

   |   Re: Great Game deals?Huh.Might try that when I'm not capped at 2kb/s.
At the moment COD4 is like $30, which is cool if you're playing MW2 for the single player plot, because apparently MW2's plot is heavily linked to MW1. But I doubt that many people would respond affirmatively to that if statement, so that's not terribly significant. Alternatively, if you're too cheap to get MW2 and still want to play a multiplayer FPS, you could get COD4 I suppose...
