If we were to have smilies limited, I think it would be best to have a limit to 6 smilies per post.

Did you ever NEED the smileys to display those emotions? Also, a limit is fine too, but 6 is too high. 3 at most.

Newbies aren't the only people who use smilies.
Anyway, why should you care? Does it cause you physical pain when someone uses more than three smilies?
If someone does, on the rare occasion, use thirty smilies then let moderators handle it, you wont have to suffer again.
Report it, then move on.

Loving the fact that all these changes are being made in the name of readability and etc (meaning weasel doesn't like them so nobody gets them) and the staff are all HO HUM WE'RE SERIOUS then you spot Grif's weird-ass reddish name and all the faith I had in weasel being remotely consistent flies out the window.

I know quite a lot of forums that have no smileys. The fact that these ones are made by prom means they probably have drl's approval, but really, what's the issue with seeing things like :] and <_< and @_. and >_< and wait why do we have smileys?
