 Signatures are going away! I've had several discussions over the last few months with the moderators/admins, and we've decided it'd be best to eliminate signatures as a default-viewable item. For those people who want to use signatures, we'll leave it opt-in - you can toggle them on from the UCP. We'll also setup a new-user welcome message that tells them how to re-enable them (as well as a brief intro and some rules). Unfortunately, WizardJames says it might have to wait until the next PhpBB patch to get that system up and running, so we'll be running with them completely off for a little while. Give it some time and he'll get it there.

Also, not complaining, but my attaching signatures by default wasn't set to no.
Edit: sig IS gone. hmm.

I just like them as a generally easy way to get to A) get to peoples mod threads quickly and B) have a laugh at someone who said something dumb.
