Well, i'll let someone get their scene request taken up before, since you already made one for me.

Ya, I'm having a little bit of trouble coming up with something original.

A mission where you fight 3 different factions in control of a mining base.
You would be in control of a brainbot and some robot1/2s

Map where some faction is breaking through the perimeter of your base from the one side, they are coming from the portal situated in the cave. They'd better be undead or other crawling flesh. And dropships coming from the other side of the base, for example they can be ronins (or some other mercenary/bandit faction). So imagine as from behind you have some undead slowly moving to your base. They're weak but countless! And from the front there're airfields, captured with bad guys. And you have only half-destroyed bunker with 3-4 heavy coalition soldiers and lone brain in the basement. Only thing good in this sad situation is fact that you have A LOT OF GOLD. Your lower levels of bunker are full of mined GOLD...
And help will come. May be in some fixed time... for example in 10 minutes.
And you're left with enemies from both sides, gold and aim to hold on till reinforcements arrive and destroy portal, retake airfields and win this battle
Or second scenery - The same situation happened on a small planet, full of gold. Coalition started to mine goods. And when the entire gold was collected and the planet was all about to be evacuated and abandoned, problems stated to appear... So now you have to hold on till your brain... and may be gold reserves will be evacuated.

Try a cave system that starts at the top and goes all the way down. Kinda like the Anthills scene only without bunkers.

Sorry to dissapoint, but I lick ♥♥♥♥ at coding. So I can't do that. I can do terrain and putting bunker modules in there. Thus the Simple Scenes thing

Well since everyone can't think of anything original i think ill add in something.
I was thinking about a large valley, which doesnt wrap. So you can build on the valley sides and the middle, the catch? Well im thinking about it.

I'll have a try to do that. Like Kung-Fu Panda I'm not a master so I'm going to start from the very beginning.
I have many scenes to steal from :wink:
If I get any success, I'll inform you.

Post Re: Need a rough scene idea
I've got three ideas for a scene:

1. An abandoned mine.
2. A snailshell/swirl shaped cave.
3. The stereotypical 'wave shape' that looks like a shark fin, made of terrain, sticking out of the ground. So it's like a curved spike overhang.

I'll work on images of the ideas a bit later.

EDIT: I made a mockup of the snailshell shaped and wave shaped terrain. Use that wonderful imagination of your, Tomaster to make the tarrain surround ing them and the abandoned mine.

The walls on the snail shell will of course be thcker, and the wave look more like a wave.

The black is terrain, the purple is the background texture. Where I've put the lines you might want to think about doing that spindly background thing like what you did in Craetern.

Better in my topic than making a whole new one I suppose.
Code:
   // Terrain SceneLayer
   Terrain = SLTerrain
      PresetName = Sycopia Terrain
      BitmapFile = ContentFile
         Path = Sycopia.rte/Scene/Sycopia.bmp
      WrapX = 1
      WrapY = 0
      ScrollRatio = Vector
         X = 1.0
         Y = -1.0
      BackgroundTexture = ContentFile
         Path = Base.rte/Scenes/Textures/DirtDark.bmp

WrapX and WrapY are the ones. 1 is wrap, 0 is no wrap. X is horizontally wrapping, Y is vertically.

m'kay thanks... And for an idea, how about a crypt with zombies, skeletons, the works and you have to exterminate them... You win by destroying like a mega zombie. I could help with sprites, backdrops, dunno whatever except maybe coding... I don't know how to code.

Sorry, I only do the simple stuff. I'd make the basic scene for you if you want, but past that, I'm no good at it. Can't sprite, and can only do the basic coding.
