HOTKEYSAll tools have a corresponding letter to use as a hotkey to quickly switch to it. Simply hold down C and press this letter to switch. For example, to switch to the Physics Dragger tool, hold down C and D at the same time.
TOOLSYour CB 4200™ comes with a total of 11 tools.
Selector (Hotkey S)
Click and drag to move any object. While an object or unit is held, it will temporarily cease to exist in the physical plane, so bullets will pass through it and it will become invisible to most artificial intelligence. Any velocity or angular velocity will be lost. As well, the object cannot be dragged into the ground. If you attempt to do so, it will simply stick at its last terrain-free position until you have moved your cursor to another free spot. Release the button to let the object rejoin the physical plane.
Demonstration:
Physics Dragger (Hotkey D)
Click and drag to move any object, applying velocity to it. The held object will still be part of the physical plane and will collide with other objects and terrain. The object can be dragged into the ground. Objects held will also maintain any previous angular velocity. If an object is released while the cursor is moving, it will continue to travel at the same speed. WARNING: This tool will unpin any object that was previously pinned, such as your brain! If you release the cursor, it will fall down and damage may occur!
Demonstration:
Lasso (Hotkey L)
Click on any object to create a simulated rope, binding it to your cursor. Release the mouse button to remove the rope. WARNING: This tool will unpin any object that was previously pinned, such as your brain! If you release the cursor, it will fall down and damage may occur!
Demonstration:
Finger of Death (Hotkey F)
Click any unit and it will immediately die**.
Demonstration:
Bomber (Hotkey B)
Click anywhere and an explosion will occur at that position.
Demonstration:
Exploder (Hotkey X)
Click on any object to cause it and anything attached to it immediately burst.
Demonstration:
Burster (Hotkey O)
Click on any object and it will gradually swell to 1.5 times its size before bursting.
Demonstration:
Delete (Hotkey L)
Click on any object and it will cease to exist.
Demonstration:
Freezer (Hotkey Z)
Click on any object and it will immediately become a statue made of terrain***.
Demonstration:
Invincibility (Hotkey I)
Click on any unit and they will begin to glow white with the power of invincibility****!
Demonstration:
Pencil (Hotkey P)
Click and drag to draw lines of terrain. WARNING: This terrain is not fully stable matter and has a tendency to rapidly melt if disturbed from below.
Demonstration:
Eraser (Hotkey A)
Click and drag to erase terrain. WARNING: The de-materialization ray projected by the satellite takes many calculations and much time to run its course. Erasing large amounts of terrain may cause noticeable slowdown of your CB 4200™ system, and may cause terrain to disappear only gradually or in lines. Do not be alarmed by any of these side-effects as they are only temporary!
Demonstration:
NEW! Turret (Hotkey T)
This tool allows you to turn any spare weapon into a floating sentry turret. Simply click and drag any weapon into the desired spot and it will begin to aim for and fire at any enemies! Click a turret again to turn it back into a normal weapon.
Demonstration:
NEW! Reticle (Hotkey R)
For use with the Turret tool. Move this cursor within range of any turret created with the Turret tool and you will assume manual control of it. Click to fire.
