   |   Re: Minecraft Up and Runningalso, the uh, 300+MB download for sauer might put some people off, when you can pick up and play minecraft while you're browsing. obviously, sauer is more powerful and its fun to be able to shoot at each other on maps you've just built, but minecraft is more of a quick and dirty approach to the construction side of the fun.

   |   Re: Minecraft Up and RunningOh ♥♥♥♥ damn that's right: it's a browser game. That didn't even occur to me - it's so slick that I didn't think twice about comparing it to a downloadable game.
 I retract my statement.

   |   Re: Minecraft Up and Runningmethinks we need to make an actual wall rather than have a million sponge columns, though we should probably keep some sponge in the walls to prevent griefing/accidents

   |   Re: Minecraft Up and RunningActually it's kinda cool in our little atlantis now. I made all the walkways glass tunnels and removed most of the sponge columns; people are building nice little underwater bubbles of habitation. It's pretty pleasant. I vote for not nuking the water.
