Post Cortex command on linux Ubuntu using wine *WORKING*
Only downside is slightly less performance and (so far as i tested) NO SOUND.

I will tell how i made it work when someone asks for it :) otherwise ill just be typing into thin air :oops:.
EDIT:

Okay i will explain;

1. Install CC on a windows PC
2. Drag the CC folder onto a usb stick or anything that holds enough Data
3. Drag the CC Folder into the wine C:\ folder
4. Run CortexCommand.exe
5. ????
6. Profit

Also;
sound is buggy and there is a tad decrease in performance.

Please try and post if work :)

Edit2: Wine setup just as you installed it.
Also a lot of windows programs work if you install it on a windows pc and then seek out all the components and paste them into your Wine C:\ drive. it seems wine has problems installing CC, not running it

Please don't do that. Plenty of people search the forums and don't post when trying to find solutions like this.

Awesome. Too bad I don't have any fast linux pc's (I use linux on computers too slow for games), otherwise I'd totally do it. One more thing that I can use with linux.

Now all I need is my programming IDE and Photoshop CS3 and I'll be good. :P

My other games would be nice too, but I think I'm asking for too much. ;)

You can try to install windows games on windows and then move the folder to the wine C:/ it works a lot of times ;)
