You can also make the rocket a Magazine. If you set a magazine to Discardable = 0, it simply disappears when reloaded instead of falling off.

That was my original idea but I didn't want to the rocket to just fall off, so that Discardable = 0 is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Edit:

I'm going to sprite and code in this pistol, do a bit of tweaking as far as prices and pixels are concerned, and then I'll throw this mod up for a test release and let you guys fool around with it if you want. I'll compose a list of problems in the OP and go through them one by one to fix 'em.

I want this to be presentable for it's full release.

Bumping for an important message.

Check the OP for a little surprise.

I am releasing what I have made so far, but this is nowhere near a "formal" release. While I won't be adding to this mod for a bit, as my attentions are currently elsewhere, I'll be happy to tweak and perform small changes to whatever you think needs it, since I'm not abandoning this. There's not a lot; guns and actors really at the moment, but there's a couple of things not mentioned in the OP that I've added. Another actor and a functioning RPG 7, actually.

Enjoy it, I'll be checking this thread every once in a while to check out reception/fix bugs/tweak things.

So yeah. Enjoy.

I like the sprites. They fit well into CC's style.
Also, you can't do text formatting in file comments, and you should probably have the screenies as .png s - just open it in any image editor and save as; it will significantly reduce filesize without reducing quality.

Thanks. I tried to get them to match as much as I could.

Alright, well, I'll admit that not seeing the the file comment not accepting formatting was just me being an idiot, but I thought you could no longer attach .pngs? That's what I save most of my artwork and stuff in, so I actually broke from the norm to make them bmp.

As for the helmet thing, I'll take a look at it tomorrow as I think I know what the problem is. I had a third actor in there with a helmet but I removed it, because it looked shitty. I guess I didn't remove it hard enough?

I'll just make some new screenshots tomorrow too, I guess.

I need to go to sleep. Damnit, Forza 3, eating up all of my time.

Edit: Forgot to say, anything in the "Unused" folders is free game to you guys. I know I have AT LEAST two actors worth of sprites in them, so have at it.

DLed and tested.

Ok, prepare for a huge list of suggestions. I don't know which parts are unfinished and which aren't, so I'll just go at it.

Actors:
Good job on the templer's mask, but the insurgent's one can use a slightly heavier shading.

The body needs a wider light-to-dark range. And the jetpack should have a more distinct color so it doesn't look like part of the body (at first I thought it was a large shoulder pad). Also needs breakable masks.

The offset of the feet makes them look detached sometimes.

Weapons:
Most weapons need clearer detail or shading. You'll see the difference when they lie beside a vanilla AK. You can chibify them (CC style) to make more room for details. Like making the barrels at least 2 pixels thick, the other parts would have to scale accordingly.

RPD: Bullet spread is too large, and the firing rate is a bit too fast.

12-guage shotty: Offset is wrong, bullets come out from the actor's hand.

Saber: There shouldn't be recoil, I think.

Work on these contents first before making new items would be good.
