Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
Gotcha, you seriously should either make an SVN for this thing, or just TELL US when you release another update. Because the stealthdates really make things difficult for some people.

Samohan25 wrote: I had a go on windows 7 and it works fine, what mods do you have? Have you re-installed all mods? Does it work with no mods? Have you edited base files or vanilla content? Sorry for the list of questions but these problems have happend and I don't know why, It's a clean install, no mods. Build 23. (just got the game, looking for new stuff) line 141 must be the "IncludeFile = Maps - Objects/Index.ini" as instructed by the readme, cuz CC works when i remove that line. I think the problem is the placement of the map pack files. The IE link in the readme doesn't seem to work (♥♥♥♥ IE), and I'm not sure exactly where the files need placed. P.S. any recommendations for mods/scenes/maps for a noobie?

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
What likely happened is you used spaces instead of tabs. You put the folders of MP3 into the base Cortex Command folder. A screenshot of the current folder setup and line 141 would be helpful.

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
Maaaayyybe you should get the file from the thread, instead of some random torrent. Where it explains how to properly INSTALL the mod. Okay, I'll assume you installed it right. My suggestion for getting it FROM THE THREAD, where it WILL be the most up to date version still stands.
EDIT: Somehow ninja'd by Duh.

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
Did you read the readme and add the line where it told you to?

Uh oh, you'd better call in animal control. And put on some leather gloves.
In the main post, it tells you to read the "readme" text file before saying it doesn't work. You should read an entire post before saying somthing doesn't work.

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
I keep getting the error that reads the following:
Abortion in file.\System|Reader.ccp, line 531, because: Referring to an instance ('Base.rte/Fill Concrete 2') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in Maps- City.rte/scenes/(1P) Suburbs.ini at line 30!
This is really anoying. I tried getting rid of the map but there are zillion more errors almost identicle to this one! Please help! And before you release the fingerbiting racoons, I did add the line in the Base.rte file like you said, and I did not direct it to a .rte, just like you said to.

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
You didn't add the line properly then. Check if you didn't make any spelling mistakes. It works for thousands of people, so you did something wrong.

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
I used the program the readme had to add the line. not only that, but it completely screws up cortex command everytime I have tried to make it work. I have uninstalled the game twice today as a result of this error!

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
It works perfectly well for me, it's just an error on your part. Try manually adding the line again, etc. Read ALL of the instructions.

Re: Map Pack 3 B23 v1.1.0
I did read all the instructions, all the way down to the freaking end of the readme! I have officaly given up on this because every single time I try to run cortex command with this mod around I need to reinstal cortex command. I have had to reninstall CC 3 time today! May data show mercy on my proccesor .
