Re: Where should i start?
Here are the possible problems: A:This is in the Index.ini or B:The .ini is corrupt.
For A you should: Put 'DataModule' on the first line.
For B you should: zip the whole folder. Delete the original folder. Extract the zip.

Re: Where should i start?
It can get that way, yeah.
Relay the whole error message to us if you can.
I run into problems a lot (har har), so maybe I can help.
If not, surely someone else here can.

Posting the mod would help too.

Re: Where should i start?
This is the error message, along with the abort screen.
Also the mod itself.

Re: Where should i start?
Just took care of a problem like this today on my end, I'll check it out for you. Gimme a sec...
Edit:
I'm not going to pretend to know how this program reads off of these .inis, but I think I found the problem after doing some re-ordering. I'll fix the ini and attach it for you, gimme a few seconds to see if I'm doing this right.

Re: Where should i start?
You used spaces instead of tabs. EDIT: Also, you misspelled a few things as well. Some mistabs. EDIT2: Did not define "Magazine" before you tried to use it, among other things. Try to think of things as a piece of machinery you're putting together. You can't put a gearbox into a car until you've made the gearbox itself, right? EDIT3: Just to clear up, Magazine is the datatype, Rifle Mag is your PresetName for it. The datatype goes on the Magazine = line, and the PresetName goes on the CopyOf = line.

Re: Where should i start?
Yeah I was about to suggest just transferring all of the info to the Coalition Machine Gun ini.
I had reformatted a few lines and noticed that, for everyone I reformatted, the line you were having a problem with went down.
So yeah. You can generally do everything except for names and the description without the use of the space bar.
Edit:
I still suggest transferring everything over to one of the already made weapon inis. I noticed you didn't have a MOPixel entry, which I believe is the actual bullet, what with the mass and lifetime and such.
Double Edit:
Also all of that above me. Which is another reason to use presets.

Re: Where should i start?
Overall, a slew of spelling and capitalization errors as well as the space/tab thing and trying to use things before they are defined. Well done for a first try though, just work on those things. Remember, the top of the file is the beginning, so always put things you need to use later on up there. I'll have the corrected mod up in a sec. Just getting the last few things done. EDIT: Some offsets free of charge too.

Re: Where should i start?
Ah, so i have to do the mag and stuff before i actually start on the HDFirearm part, i thought you could just mash it all together but obviously it works differently. Anyway thanks for fixing it up, the reason i decided not to use the template is because i wanted to try and learn how to use the language, and maybe eventually make more unique objects, but for the meantime i can be lazy.
