Re: Discussion: best RTS game.
I play Sins everyday. It just sucks that I always end up playing longer than I thought.

Yea, but it`s strange how it only happens in Sins. It never happens to me in any other RTS. I hate that. I`ve been playing this whole day...

The one with the traders and soon after that the raiders. I've always loved Homeworld 1 and 2. Simply amazing games, but yes, very hard on some of the missions where you have like, hardly any RUs vs the enemy with a seemingly unlimited supply. Online multiplayer was definitely epic though. I'd totally dig a new installment of Homeworld.

I expect to play C&C for an hour and spend 2 or 3; I expect to play Sins for an hour and end losing 6 hours sometimes, without any eating breaks or anything - on a single map. Damn thing is addictive. I think it's the slower pacing of it - it's kinda like playing C&C in slow motion, but there's always something to do to entertain you. Still feels "edge of the seat".

Civilization series is the perfect example of time-travel.

Oh how much fun I had getting the snow people love me for giving them fire and warmth via lighting their town center aflame. With such wonder I tried to groom my beast into an avatar of my will. Such ferocity I defended my people with. What sadness overcame me when the disc broke. But then, could it be? Yes! Yes a sequel to my beloved game! So many newer, better features promised by that cool guy Peter Molyneux. Oh with what whimsical innocence I believed him. Never again will I believe him and shell out hard earned money for his discs of deception and ♥♥♥♥. Never again. Also Sins can be pretty fun with friends. What is fun is always backstabbing your team right as they are making their final move, sending the whole game back to the beginning in terms of the balance of power.

My internet is far too slow to acceptably play 1-1. Damn internet...
I love swarming a base with 5-8 cap ships in Sins, with 20-30 small frigates. Cleans them quickly.
For anyone curious, I have 100kb/s, which causes 0.8 secs of waiting for any MMO I play.

I actually liked B&W2 quite a lot. Even though I never played the first game.

Disgusting. I bet you thought Fable 2 wasn't a disappointment either. Or that any recent sonic game is good. Or that Ages of Empires 3 was a satisfying and fulfilling game that lived up to its predecessor's name.
Speaking of which, AoE2 was great because WOLOLO WOLOLO WOLOLO

I've never had the chance of playing fable 2. Not everyone is lucky enough to own a 360. ...Not all of sonic's recent games were bad. The one in which you played with 3 characters at the same time was really cool, in my opinion. But I do agree that AoE3 was a bit less than it could be. Although much better than AoE1, anyway.

Re: Discussion: best RTS game.
Fable one was awesome. AoE2 is a game i still play, though AoE3 wasnt that bad, it just wasnt amazing, and the home cities thing was a bit wtf. I dont like sonic much, though i did get into sonic battle on the GBA for a period of time. Aspasia wrote: AoE2 was great because WOLOLO WOLOLO WOLOLO Astronomical fail there, but i suppose we can pass it off as a brain fart. Monks suck in AoE2 anyway, but i suppose thats because i dont like playing the religion game in RTSes. Favorite added feature of any expansion pack ever, go. Mine is the addition of a farm cue in AoE2 the Conquerors, it saved so much time and made that ratachata sound so much less frustrating to hear. oh my god i just did that thing where you spam acronyms at the speed of type.
