Post Gun Template for new modders [tutorial]
Well here is just a simple gun template which has a lot of information for nooby modders.
-cut-

(postponing till tues)

Simply Extract the rar and then open up the index.ini [edit these]
Then open up Gun1.ini and edit the values.
Of course you also have to draw your own sprites, so get to it new guys!

This isn't formatted well, it only comments on about one forth of the lines, its information isn't very elaborative when it's useful at all, it suggests some bad habits...
Maybe this would be somewhat helpful to a beginner, but it's far from ideal.

For example, you should mention mass is in KG, you should explain more variables, you should explain what a particle type is and does as you introduce it, etc.

The Wiki wrote:
MOPixels are the smallest type of effect. They are one pixel, with one color, and some properties. Their singular and manually defined atom defines the material that the MOPixel is made of, as well as a trail effect. They fill a lot of roles, they can be used as sparks, blood, shrapnel, exhaust, bullets, the list goes on.

The Wiki wrote:
MOSParticles are quite simply MOPixels with an animated sprite. They can be gibs, but they cannot be gibbed.

Exactly what, pray tell, is confusing there?

I just said sometimes.
Like when people make it not professionals, it get confusing.
Like about 1\20 of all wiki topics are confusing.
(this is my opinion)
I also just looked and it wasn't very confusing the cc wiki.
Gj ppl who wrote it.
Wikipedia makes everything confusing and unreasonably long.
