A low 16:10 / 16:9 resolution setting?
I have my doubts that this is entirely possible. Resolutions probably come in such standardised sizes for a reason, but I think it would be nice to have a small screen size that fits width a widescreen monitor. Playing with a 1680x1050 resolution ruins the game for me, and playing with a 640x480 resolution causes the image to be stretched horizontally to fit making everything fat. I want something where I can have the big up close pixel filled goodness and swap the stretchy vision for a few hundred units of actor view distance either side.
Is there any way to make 768x480 and 853x480 resolutions to fit widescreen monitors? If so, can it be implemented?

Tried setting Code: ResolutionX = 640 ResolutionY = 480 in Base.rte/Settings.ini?

Just replace the numbers with whatever resolution you think would work better for you.

Hm, can't really help you then. Sorry Maybe someone else with a widescreen display can.

Maybe... turn fullscreen off? Also 1280xsomething was widescreen as well, I think it's as low as they can get.

Re: A low 16:10 / 16:9 resolution setting?
My monitor has a native resolution of WSXGA+ 16:10 1680 X 1050, so I have my CC resolution set to 840 X 510, a little less than half of that, and I have the doubled window setting on, instead of fullscreen. The result is that the game fills up the screen, except the start bar, and is nicely resized to 2x, to avoid blur from the monitor. Many settings crashed and reverted to default, but some didn't, so this took a while to get right. I couldn't get fullscreen to work on most custom resolutions, including exactly half my native resolution, so I had to find the very biggest 2x that would fill the screen and work. Code: ResolutionX = 840 ResolutionY = 510 Code: Fullscreen = 0 NxWindowed = 2

I have a monitor of 1680x1050. I thought I was the only one with this problem.
It's probably a good idea to contact one of the Developers, and to see if they can't set things straight.
In the mean time, you can hide your taskbar, and use the half res "hack" that he suggested.

1440x900 works a-ok with fullscreen 1
but I also leave nxwindowed = 1?

Azukki wrote: Code: ResolutionX = 840 ResolutionY = 510 Code: Fullscreen = 0 NxWindowed = 2 This works, but it lags periodically for some reason and it cuts the mouse sensitivity in half. I've been toying with some of my own settings and I can't seem to get a working fullscreen option.

The game tries to list all modes that the graphics controller can manage to produce.. so if the desired res isn't listed, chances are your graphics card/driver isn't willing to do it.

Oh, thats good to know. So, if a resolution isn't being listed my video card doesn't support it? Or it could be the drivers, so updating them might fix it? Thats a pretty handy feature. I guess it's time to buy a new video card.
Wait a second.
