I disagree. They might not be very good for the CC we know and love as it currently is, skirmish from the sky, but I think they could fit right into future missions and game modes as additional gameplay elements.

Re: So, official orders from devs
I hope some vehicles will be added, like those shown in intro. Also grenades shouldn't act like mines when lying on the ground BECAUSE it's annoying and (for the lack of a better word) not realistic .

Maybe it's not realistic, but it's an efficient way to replace mines, as there aren't mines in the current build.

Re: CONTENT TWEAK THREAD
Something about this thread changed, I don't know what though. *Goes into intense thought*
Also, I hate trying to pick up grenades only to land on them and have them explode in my face. Not fun. Having people explode when I shoot them though is very fun.
Normally grenades don't explode unless the pin is pulled, though.

Re: CONTENT TWEAK THREAD
@Natti: Are you saying that you drop grenades here and there to make a minefield? 'Cos I'm only stepping on those dropped by dying enemies. And I think of this as unfair/pure luck when AI manages to take me out this way.
@up: I couldn't write it better.

Re: CONTENT TWEAK THREAD
Two things:
1- Any single-shot weapons should have a high firing speed, so that you can fire immediately after reloading ends, and don't need to wait that weird delay time to end.
2- The shortgun should have a much, much higher firing speed. It's a sawn-off double barrel shotgun, for Data's sake! You should be able to fire both barrels pretty much at the same time.

Re: CONTENT TWEAK THREAD
Buying menu: - Make assigning equipment to actors easier. The problem is when I have two actors, I have to remove all info on the second before I can edit the first. Presets have the same issue, where if you wanted to delete your starting preset, you'd have to delete the presets under it first.
- It would be nice to have an option to minimize selections by fraction, and to modify presets without deleting them.
Scene Editor: - Ability to stick equipment directly into an Actor's inventory, so they won't go stepping on grenades and stuff.
Rockets: - When prepping the game, have rockets stay in their holders(the thing under "bunker systems") when placed in one, rather then bounce all around. I have to place rockets last if I want one at game startup, or else it'll either be destroyed or somewhere else by the time I get done w/ everything else.
- Make them not chop off my actors heads. Sometimes the emitters used to balance a standing rocket can accidentally kill an exiting actor.

Re: CONTENT TWEAK THREAD
Official implementation could make them only as hacky as current AHumans etc. Devs aren't limited to workarounds like we are. I don't know how difficult it would be for Data to officially implement them, or if Data's willing to bother, but I do think they would fit gameplay of missions and game modes well as additional game elements. Thus, I suggest them for consideration.

Face the truth. 99% of deaths are caused by: - exploding enemies - dropship/rocket parts - dumb friendlies - idiotic enemies - enemies with diggers - AI - own grenades And yes, i do minefields that way. Because if you don't count mods there aren't mines.

You should be able to fire both barrels pretty much at the same time. I thought that the bottom "barrel" was the ammo tube that most shotguns have, since it has a pump thing. It it was a double barrel shotgun with one round per barrel, there would be no pump (I think). For tweaks in content, all fleshy human actors need to take more damage when they get shot in the head. At times I have to put five shots into a ronin before they die. Robots don't need this though, it's possible they have their proccessing hardware in their body or something.

And I think it's not quite nice that when you empty a clip of an assault rifle to somebodys body, he explodes. I just don't like it.
