|
 Extreme Lag I spawned a dropship containing about 20 of Spook's HE bombs and now CC is lagging horrendously.
I've restarted CC& my computer and it still doesn't work.
Help please.

Re: Extreme Lag Make sure you don't have an orphaned Cortex process. Those sometimes happen, I've noticed they happen more often on Vista.

Re: Extreme Lag Ctrl Shift Escape is the task manager shortcut, ctrl alt delete has more than you need.
EDIT: Look under processes for CortexCommand.exe, if there are any when you're not playing the game, kill them.

Re: Extreme Lag Unfortunately, there are no extraneous processes.  Would it help to know that it doesn't lag during the mainscreen? It only lags during a mission.
