I forgot some people because they havent been active and posting for so long, thats why I used this list because it automatically includes all the good people, and data. by saying not this list, and not adding data, your forgetting the most important person. although technically the community doesn't need data, but rather the game, which is an extention of data.

That should not be impacting your opinion of him. No where in this thread did he say he gave two dumps about anyone's opinion. He is an outside consultant here to steal our jobs.

Just because he doesn't listen to you doesn't make him a shitty person. The staff that already exists only listens to us on occasion, yet you don't hate them.

Okay, I think there's a bit of misunderstanding on weasel's position here. ProjektTHOR just summed it up, but for those of you still confused, this doesn't mean that weasel is now the single administrator of the forums. We're not just going to change everything over the course of a week, this is going to take months.

Weasel is not here to ban everybody who doesn't comply, nor does he want to nuke and rebuild everything into a perfect utopia with unicorns farting candy rainbows. Data has hired him to help turn this community into something that can accommodate users both new and old and actually center it more around the game it was created to server, and the rest of the staff are going to cooperate with him to make it so. Let's face it - the forum's been around for over 6 years now without much direction on how it should run and it's well due for a bit of tidying up.

I personally don't want to lose any of our older contributing members, either. As somebody who has been part of the community for nearly 3 years and part of the staff for most of that time, I understand that changing the forum is not going to sit well with many of you. I would really like to ask that you at least try to go along with it for now - let weasel and the rest of the staff do their work for now and decide that you hate all of us once we've actually done something significant if you feel the need to. It will just let this forum run that much more smoothly, and help the community to thrive along with Cortex Command.

Sounds good. I would like an overview of what's being planned though, or an ETA for such. It'd help me sleep at night.

We're still talking over privately what needs to be done; once we have the details finalized we'll share them with the public.

And to the dude who said I just ignored his suggestions: I have a half dozen PMs in my inbox and I think yours might have been the longest at 2 pages. I just haven't had enough time to read it and respond to it yet. Patience.
