Or perhaps they actually do have some kind of sensory functionality. But I didn't want to make them the main eyes because I didn't want him to look like Kamen Rider. Also, I invoked rule of cool pretty hardcore on this guy, despite my usual ranting about realism. Then again, that armor is supposed to be crazy super-futuristic power armor, and even has pseudo-organic properties. So I guess it can look however it wants because it's not going to make sense in any case.

Re: Art Dump
You can make anything make sense. Draw anything at all and I'm pretty sure I'd be able to make up something to justify it. Example: Alternative to Grif's thingo; The compound eyes are for sensing things in lowish precision but in a wide range, whilst the normal eyes are for focusing on things. Anyway, looks pretty cool except for the feet. What you have posted of the feet don't really match up to the quality of the rest of the guy in my opinion.

Hmm, I may have subconsciously added them but no, I don't usually add intentional Easter Eggs to my work, Although that does sound like a cool idea. Thanks, I might go back and work more on the background.

Re: Dummy drawing/sketch
That's a really tiny AK. Otherwise, looks fine but I suggest splitting the yellow armor into sections and add metal between the sections. Fudge that was hard(typing this on an iTouch)

Hmm, I may have subconsciously added them but no, I don't usually add intentional Easter Eggs to my work, Although that does sound like a cool idea. Thanks, I might go back and work more on the background. the faces I can clearly see are 1) Agony: bottom right of the image, between the last 2 trees on the right, just above the rocks. 2) slimer from ghost busters, between the 5th and 6th trees (left to right) at the same height, harder to see 3) incomplete, I see 2 eyes and half of a smile. its the bottom right, on the rocks, cut in half by the corner of the image. also, 4? theres half of a crying old man's face, much larger, like its hiding behind #3, its the rock. the darker little bit of grass makes an eye-brow. 5 & 6, on the rocks on the bottom left, there are 2 faces, that look sort of orkish/elvish/alien, both are shown from the side, looking right. they are very dim and made up of shadows and cracks. about the size of a dime. the far left one is just above the bottom, and is in the lit area, the other is on the right side of the rock face 7: not a face, looks like kanji and part of a stick figure, sitting and facing it. its above #1. I've gotten a bit excessive at picking out coincidental faces and images. I see them in cars, houses, trees, carpets, sometimes they are more obvious than others. I'm gonna save this image, re-color them, and photo-bucket it just to show them if you cant see it.

Hilarious finds, especially the third one, but they're just your average subliminal facial expressions to me.
