Re: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
yeah, but those are direct subseries, ages and seasons are pre/sequels to each other (lets just call them "connected", its complicated), and phantom hourglass is the sequel to windwaker. but seriously, an overall timeline doesnt/shouldnt exist.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Since this topic has become commonplace for LOZ in general, I'll just put this out there.
I think I know who the mysterious girl in the new concept art is! Notice that Link holds a shield, but no sword. This leads me to believe that she IS THE MASTER SWORD!!!! Dunh-dunh-duuuunnhhh! Or possibly some other sword. At least, the spirit of the sword. I dunno. Or has everybody figured this out?
Does anybody really care?... ...
Oh well.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Oh. But seriously, Shigeru Miyamoto himself, in an interview with Nintendo Power (that's right, I read NP.), said, and I quote, "One thing that's important to note in that artwork though, is that Link is carrying a shield, but that's all he's carrying." What else could he be hinting at? It's not a conspiracy! And Grif, I want to see her cut off your head. Sweet justice! lol.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Oh. That statement on how many Hardcore Zelda fans thought that there's a timeline for the whole series.
Nintendo killed that. Litterally, with harsh words.
Stated that it only has reoccurring themes/character (names)/items. But no timeline.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
I will miss my boats severely There really should've been a major remake/sequel to Wind Waker. "Uhm... these ARE sequels to wind waker..." But they don't even closely recreate it's greatness. I think what made windwaker great was the amount of exploration it had, which is all but removed in PH. In spirit tracks, you'll be bound to pre-existing railroads. Yippee. Also I actually liked windwaker's graphics.

Hey y'all, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Oracle of Ages was the best LoZ game.

For the gameboy, hell yes. better than seasons. i dont get subrova, or whatever lava world was called. the whole "multiple worlds lololol" thing was cool, through both of them. i can imagine making all those assets would have been quite a task. I still think majoras mask was the best Zelda overall. LoZ needs more NPC interaction overall though.

What I mean seriously the exploration in WW was crap, you sailed really slowly around an ocean where there was NOTHING INTERESTING TO FIND OR LOOK AT. BECAUSE IT WAS AN OCEAN. You might as well have been on tracks in that game, there was no reason to stop in the middle of the sea and get out while sailing between islands, and "sailing between islands" is what the train is going to be for in this game.
