Re: Censorship of baby mod - depriving the fans?

No, you don't get the option to question the way the board functions. That is not how this works. This is not a fracking democracy. The board is managed by Data (who delegates that responsibility to moderators). It is his ultimate decision about enforcement and creation of policy.
Right now there is no rule against this, so we
can question the way the board functions.
They have absolute authority, but they some times choose to allow the peasants to speak, and listen. Which in my opinion, is the reasonable thing to do. Sometimes we're either not allowed to speak or we're disregarded. They have the right and power to do that, but I disagree and think doing so is unreasonable. As there are no rules against it or exceptions being explicitly made at the moment, we
do have the option to question the way the board works. Obviously from Seraph's post, it will be disregarded,
[lame] but there's no indication it's been disallowed. That is, until this thread gets locked because of the recent and upcoming bad replies. Probably numgun's, and the upcoming responses to it.
Anyways, I don't think it's unreasonable that the baby mod was taken down. It was all in
good fun, but obviously quite obscene and likely to start controversy. I suppose my gif in the thread didn't exactly help. Actually, if I remember correctly, it was the start of the uberweapon/line of babies theme, and that was probably the straw that broke the camel's back, and made the mod too obscene to further allow.
