Well, certainly not Cortex Command; I haven't played that thing for years except for a few minutes each new release. Each time, I turn away, since just playing it was never that much fun in the first place and I'm too busy to learn Lua.

I'd say the Kingdom of Loathing; always fun to get in a day or two. Other than that, there honestly aren't any computer games (other than perhaps Spelunky, but that'll pass before much longer) that I could guarantee I'd have a good time picking up and playing.

Has anyone said starcraft?

Thanks for reminding me, miles. Music games=fun. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are good if you have some friends over, and I still enjoy a little EBA here and there. Smash kinda fits. I haven't tested it thoroughly, though.
