Re: User Titles
I just got an image of toes being baked out of his skull. This thread should have really been a PM. However, in light of its existance and TLB's request.. I think Banned should be Grey, so as to draw attention away from them, and keep with the colour scheme. other than that, i also vote for pestering jamesy to fiddle with the php, either removing the banned title altogether or just when a user is unbanned. the user title line could also be spaced a bit more from the avatar.

Re: User Titles
Might be a bit unrelated, but when I was banned, I didn't even get a title. At all. Just couldn't even log in to check for new posts.

The current general method is shunting the "banned" person into a restricted-permissions usergroup, meaning they can read posts but only post in the banned forum. An IP ban is still straight up, as soon as you come here (without logging in) it goes to the banned page. Older bans were directly within phpbb's ban control system, meaning you'd be totally locked out of the forum for the duration of the ban.

Re: User Titles
General consensus is to "muzzle" people. Better dramatic effect. I approve of this idea (as I should because it is mine).

Re: User Titles
Banned title has been switched to gray. Is it visible enough?
