Sorry, another thread from me.

So I am making a mod, and I used the CC Palette and indexed colour in Photoshop, and saved as a bitmap. When the images load in the game, however, the transparency doesn't work, the edges are changed, it overall looks like I never used the CC Palette at all.

A more detailed description of what I did: I saved them all as PSDs with RGB colour in the beginning, using the eyedropper tool to extract from the CC Pallet (which was an indexed PNG I found on the Wiki). I then resaved them all as BMPs using a droplet, and used another droplet to change their mode to indexed colour. Like the other sprites in the game, they are also 8bit.

I cannot figure out here what I was doing wrong. I've spent an hour fiddling with the sprites but with no results, so I'm hoping someone here has had this problem before and knows how to fix it.

Follow these instructions using these palettes. Should solve your problem.

I did it all wrong, when I follow those instructions everything messes up. I guess I'm going to have to start again.
