The Jericho Missile MK2 (WIP) Updated 09/02/09
Yes! Another overpowered weapon of mass destruction made by me in Cortex Command. (Old Gif) The Jericho is a big missile that sends tons of little flying missiles in mid-air that explodes on the ground, creating a big shock wave that sends things flying. Sadly, the homing system is not operational yet (need lua pl0x!) so the missile automatically shoots the swarm after some time. The only way you can currently shoot this thing is via a Handheld Jericho Launcher, but there will be more devices later. This is a WIP (Work In Progress) so there are still a lot of flaws in the mod. Known issues : -No epic sounds like the one in the movie. -"Missile" Magazine not properly gibbing after shooting. -Shock wave needs to be WAY better. -No turrets. -Need homing on the Jericho missile. (Partial Strike out) -Faster swarm missiles.-Wider Range.-Increase terrain damage on the big missile.Here's the download. Attachment:
File comment: New -Swarm missiles now faster and fly in a wider range. -Jericho case now piercing holes through terrain and bunkers. -Small sprite revision. -Some lua has been added, but it doesn't work. Commented out to reduce lag.

Oh Joy. DL'ing now. Just as Awesome as I thought. Seriously, make the big missile non-explosive. It would be so much more Jerichoish that way. I do love how the mini missiles just pop out, then go "Oh hey, LET'S USE ROCKETS!"

Hey, this is not half bad. Awesome sounds will make it better, as will all the mentioned issues to-be-fixed. The Launcher sprite feels a little awkward, but not terribly so in my opinion. it is also way too light.
I was thinking I needed one of these missiles just yesterday, thanks for reading my mind.

yea its pretty good, but it lobs to much for a missile and its a bit to light. Other then that its good, and maybe you can add some attributes to it to like poison gas or napalm.

You can't ask me to make the missile heavier and be shot faster unless you like the fact that your clones always dies from recoil when shooting. As for the napalm and poison gas, I'll look into that. (The mini missiles would still blow up of course...)

oh wow this is fun on all of weegees missions. this is fairly good i don't even mind the fact that it doesn't home in. it is annoying that the shock wave makes the weapon fly out of my hand but other then that its a wonderful addition to my CC arsenal.

As for the mass problem, couldn't you just have a light weight bullet that gibs into the jericho missile with inheritsvel = 1?
As for the missile itself, looks amazing as all of db's mods are :3
