Well, I haven't worked on this thing in ages, so I guess I'll release it.

Quadraxis
(from Metroid Prime 2 Echoes)
(old gif, w/o turret.)

There are 3 different version to choose from in the buy menu.
1: Laser Turret - rapid fire laser bullet things.
2: Burst Missile - shoots like 5 little missiles at a time.
3: Annihilator Cannon - shoots a thing like the thing from the game.

Uhhh... yeah. That's about it.
It's a giant ass ACrab with 3 different version depending on what weapon you want.

If you get any errors, post em here.

Judging from the gif, the walkpath is terrible, the leg animation feels jumpy, and rotating the leg pieces in photoshop left you with some nasty orange AA.

I saw this in mod making awhile ago..

..aand this isn't exactly what i expected.

The walking is pretty awful and at one point it went backwards when it should gone to the other direction :? ..
Also there are some bugs. Somehow the annihilator round indicator shows -1, instead of infinite and it pretty much annihilates itself because the rocket things oftenly hits its own legs.. And the missile bot rocket explosions sounds like fireworks popping and they lack power. And the laser bot doesen't shoot laser, it's friggin machinegun..

This really would be awensome mod with some more work.

Like everyone else said, the walkpaths need improvement, and the lazer gun is a semi-uber MG with slightly glowing bullets. Although this guy would be awesome against the crabs in first signs, his walk paths mess him up around the cave. Another problem is delivering him into battle. When He comes out of a dropship, he goes through the hull, or engine in a weird way, and he sometimes doesn't land right.

Overall though, I like the mod and I'm glad to have downloaded it. I like his feathe sound too. Do something with the walkpaths and dropship, and I'd use this a lot more!

The walkpaths are as good as they're gonna get. I took the mother crab and multiplied each offset by 2 and tripled the amount of atoms to get the walkpath.

And the sheer size of this thing is what makes it "mess up" when delivered from a dropship.

Annihilator rounds do not harm Quadraxis.

The MG is somewhat of a bullet sprayer, but that's how it is in the game.

I know nothing about walkpathes, but maybe I'll experiment around a little. If I get better results, I'll post them. :)

BTW, where is the mothercrab folder located. I can't find it.

Both of the homing weapons had hit quadraxis several times in the leg, and it did nothing to him. But I was shooting in an upward angle (The missiles came down on my leg because an enemy was below me). It looks like you were shooting down. Maybe there's a spot that can be effected.

Tons of work are needed to make it decent enough to actually use.
It needs walkpath fixing, better and more balanced weapons, some nice effects, some custom sounds (Walking, taking damage, etc.) and it shouldn't hit it's own goddamn legs when shooting.
