Post Download/Install problem.
Um, today my CC wouldn't work. somthing to do with a sound in base/gui/sounds called menu enter. (A folder wich I have never dreamed of touching)

I removed all my mods, it didn't work

I switched my Base.rte to my backup, it didn't work

I backed up my mods and reinstalled from the installer on my drive, it didn't work

I deleted all the files I didn't have backed up and went to redownload CC. the download finishes, I trie to run it and It says it won't work 'cause the download didn't verify

I tried downloading again.

and again

It still won't let me install.

Any reccomendations for how to make the damn thing work?

Get a better web browser, and then get better sound card drivers because that's what the original problem was.

I agree, reboot.

If that fails you obviously screwed your services/sound driver/codecs.

Thanks for your help, it works now.

Awindows alert came up saying there were some new system updates to be had. That required a reboot and after that it worked.
