Cortex Command Recording Crash
Now, this could be an issue with my recording software and not Cortex Command, but given that one has a history of crashing and one doesn't, I find that unlikely.
See, whenever I try to record a video of myself playing, the game will work for a random amount of time before not only crashing, but restarting my whole computer. No other game does this. I figure what must be happening is that the load of CC, video and microphone recording is just too much for the processor to handle, and so it just locks up, but I don't understand why only CC would do this if that were the case.
I'm not sure if anyone can actually help me with this, given that it seems to be a mixture of outside and inside sources causing the problems, but anything would be helpful. Maybe directing me to a good recording software (anything is better than Hypercam 2) that works with CC? I can't exactly buy anything at the moment though, unfortunately.
As I said, I'm unsure whether this is something that you can actually solve, but I figure asking here is the best I can do.

Just use printscreen to record? Unless you're going for minutes-long gameplay montages GIFs work just fine.
Also, CC is a rather more CPU intensive game than most other things.

I've heard good things about FRAPS. Then again, I've never tried it, so can't say anything.
