Coalition Heavy Forces Update smallermortarclipssmalerholes
I went a week without an internet connection, so I've actualy put time into this mod. It's pretty good spriteweise, and it's got 2 badass guns, and a mortar launcher. Note: please ignore the turret, it's still a WIP; you can use it if you want - it's funtional, but it will burn your eyes. Other than that, the sprites are good. please look at the sprites, not just the screenys. Attachment:

The Auto-sniper A semi-automatic sniper rifle, great for anti-infantry and dropships. Calibur = 1.5 kg, 6 sharpness 5 Rounds per magazine Long reload time 1 Proper shot = Kills any current vanilla actor, with the exception of the heavy brain bot, dreadnought, and possibly browncoats. 2 Shots = Kills dreadnoughts and browncoats 1 Magazine (5 shots) destroys a door 2 Magazines, properly aimed = Pelian army assult mech Long reload times Mortar, the coalition didn't have a morter, and I wanted one. Features = 6 frame firing animation, 1 shot per magazine, fast reload time. MechGun = a very heavy machinegun. Bullets are 1.5 kg calibur, 6 sharpness, long reload times, 25 rounds per magazine. A warlord's weapon, used by the turrets and stronger individuals. Also includes: Jet troopers These experemental soldiers have "jump packs" that burn rocket fuel, enabling high but short flights, giving them the ability to move with heavy weapons. But be warned, their flying method is quite dangerous. . sword= used by commandoes as a symbol of status. dont bring a sword to a gunfight. Now with less terain damige! gifs would be very helpfull.

Looks like you merged a bunch of coalition sprites together to be honest.

Sprites don't look too bad, though the bipod looks a bit wide. You could consider narrowing that. Also, mass is measured in kg, evidenced by some of the Base.rte comments. I'll pm you a grammatically correct and spelling corrected version of your post though, because otherwise you'll get flames from the people that dislike you already and are going to nitpick.

Nitpicking a post by lafe is quite honestly like shooting fish in a barrel. Not worth it and not all that fun. PS caliber is a measure of the dimensions of the round, grain is how much it weighs, clips are used to speedload internal magazines, and you still can't sprite.

That was my first try at modifing, i always started from scratch with sprites before that, when doing weapons, that is.

As a general rule, you will catch less flak for cutting/modifying/building on top of vanilla sprite copies vs. making really shitty sprites from scratch.

True. The morter looks a bit wierd, but at the same time, I like it.

Geh... I just can't bring myself to like these resprites, although they are far better than your previous work. I think you'd be better served frankensteining bits of vanilla sprites and sprite dump sprites for your work than trying to hand-modify them. Also, a quick hint: Meh look, meh functionality: this. Not so great. Fun to play with, vanilla look: Good. Bland functionality, great look: Also good. Fun, unique functionality, great look: win. Shoot for category 2.
