I was thinking it'd either project an energy shield that would protect from enemy fire, or it would emit shockwaves or pulses of energy that either knockback opponents or stop projectiles dead in their tracks.

From the sprite, I envisioned some sort of forming blue sphere above the hand with arcs of energy from the blue pad which was then thrust into an enemy, arcing off into other nearby enemies, doing damage and large knockback on each enemy made contact with.

Maybe with some sparkle magic, it could freeze anything that isn't terrain and then take away the current velocity of anything that got frozen; that way, bullets would just stop and drop in mid-air.

Of course, there is then the problem of rocket propelled devices like the Ronin bazooka; it might falter for a second, but it would probably only end up dropping a few degrees off the intended flight path S:

Then use non sparkly magic to put up an energy shield via .ini style, and just have the shield nigh invulnerable and blocks bullets. Bullets then fall/bounce off.

I've stated this quite a few times. Just don't try to buy a Rocket Fist. The new update in the works has fixed the problem.

Never does that for me, but another mod did that before, and I solved it by "uninstalling" a few other mods that were clogging the buy menu

The only other mods I had installed were the PA and DarkStorm.
So, I'll just have to avoid the deathtrap of an icon.

On another note, nice ideas for weapons/shields.
Is there no way to, when you stop everything momentarily, make it's trajectory rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise? Or, just make it point straight down? Bullets would automatically fall, having lost all velocity, but self-propelled things, like the Ronin baa-zoo-car and RPC, would stop, then have a new direction to travel in.
Although, making every object in range rotate may end up being lagtastic.

For some reason, when I extracted the folder directly from the Winrar thing into the Cortex Command game folder, it still didn't appear in game.

What do I have to do?

The update will have an actor version and a brain version.

Brain version will have the "brain" in the chest behind the ribcage.
Actor version will be the current one, with the head under the helmet.

I did have an idea of trying to make it eventually just a suit that a brain or dummy could enter.

make it so that when you press a button in a certain proxitimity o your own brain, said brain is transported with the dummy behemoth.
