This is the inherent problem.
He asks for our thoughts.
We give him our thoughts.
He insists we're wrong and that our thoughts basically don't matter.

At that point it's not a public mod. It's an internal one.
And if it's an internal mod, it doesn't belong here.

I insist you re-lock this.

The Mods Releases forums is intended for RELEASING mods for public consumption, not for proving that you made them. If you want to prove you made something, send a copy to an admin and we will deal with anybody trying to steal it. Once you have released a mod for the public, EXPECT CRITICISM. There is no point whatsoever in having a topic on a public forum if you do not want to discuss the topic, that being the mod in this case.

I don't want to see any more argument from either side of this or consequences will happen - and I assure you, they will be grave. If one side argues, don't argue back, just let me deal with it.

That said, feel free to continue this like a normal topic and discuss the mod. Roland Kane, if you don't want any feedback on the mod, it can be deleted of the forum entirely at your request. The choice is yours.

To be frank, the mod is lackluster at best. There is nothing redeeming in the pack. I understand that it is an alpha, but if this makes it through your seemingly thick skull, take the criticsm and use it.

After several minutes of playtesting, Here's a (not so short) list of what I think should be improved at some point in time:

.:Auto-buss:.
-this seems to be, quite literally, a bullet hose, meaning that it's like a hose that shoots water (at least in my definition). Either increase the bullet velocity, shorten the range and add more air resistance to the bullets, or decrease the bullet weight.
-Terribly unbalanced. Try increasing reload times, or adjust other variables. Weaker bullets will work too.
-seems to have the same cost as the AT-buss. making the AT-buss a bit more expensive (the AT-buss being the more powerful of the two) would make a bit more sense.
-the in-game description is VERY long. generally is 2-4 lines. That description should actually be more suited to being the description for the unit in the description post. Same for the AT-buss.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that the firing sounds seem a bit mismatched (as in, uses very different shotgun sounds. It doesn't sound right when fired quickly.)

.:AT-buss:.
-can kill the provided soldier with one use. Although it says it can only be used with a specialized feddie soldier, you should include said soldier before you include a gun that the current actor can't even use very well.
-short reload time compared to it's power. lengthening it would balance the gun out more.

.:Soldier:.
-jet-pack? or at least some way of jumping would be a good idea. Maybe a jet-soldier could be a new unit.
-looks very similar to it's vanilla counterpart. maybe modify the general profile so that it doesn't look as much like the vanilla skelly in general.
-the metal armor on the legs, arms and torso don't really look like metal. Try shading it like the metal found on other actors (coalition heavy, dreadnought, etc.)

In general, it is a bit overpowered, and could use re-balancing.

Anyways anything you write now I will never read 'cause I could care less. Cortex Command is awesome, I wish the community reflected upon that.

Must resist temptation to point out strawman...

That aside, I think lowering the weight of the auto-bluss bullets would be good.
