I tihnk you need to get rid of the blunderbuss sprayer. You know what it does? It sprays, not concrete, but bullets. So please make it more like a gun...

Why would I do that? If you don't like it don't use it. Simple! Or change it yourself I'm not ruining my mod for you.

We give you criticism assuming you want people to play your mod. Since we are said people, we are giving you advice on things that we think would make the mod more playable/believable/enjoyable. You are free to totally blow off our advice, just know that you are alienating at least one potential player.

I'm also posting this as proof I make this mod because my Beta-tester I fired may just post it.

i seriously dont think than anyone would want to steal it...
just a bullet sprayer and an cannon with a copied base.rte files as an actor.
there i described the whole mod.

ok now than i got the ranting out usefull things.
go back to the mod and redo it.
a)think of a story
b)think of the visual style the actors and the guns will have
c)think of the weapons and what use they will have
d)the same for the actors
e)then go and begine to make actual modding involving a computer
f)after you made the faction get some beta testers and gather bugs/opinions and polish the mod

then you can releace the mod.
this is trully way to half assed to be concindered a playable mod

If you feel that logical and constructive criticism (which is what you are ASKING FOR if you POST ON A PUBLIC FORUM asking for FEEDBACK) is "ruining" your mod (which is impossible, because ruin would indicate I'd have to make it worse, something which I don't think I could even do), then you have no purpose in posting the mod at all.

AT ALL.

If you won't take we the players and potential downloaders of said mod into consideration at all, then you should simply keep the mod internal and local to your computer.

You're either the best troll in a long time, or incredibly terrible at taking advice.

ITT: LFoW sick of playing nice.

Handy Tip : dont act like a tool to the community, they are the people that provide you with mods to entertain you, and help you with your owns mods, alienating them makes you look like an idiot, and no one will help you later on.

Back on topic, you needed to put more work into this before you released this, coming from someone who made the same mistake, and I seriously doubt that the guy helping you would steal it, if he did, you could just message a mod to kill the topic o.0 The gun is boring after about one kill, and the sprites need a bit more time put into them.

bit long sorry

Well if you read my post it says I posted it so my Beta tester won't steal it. Anyways I like this mod, and my friends do and I can actually play with them. I gain no benefit from you playing it so I could care less. And here: To make it seem better for you think of it this way, it could be one of your mods :0 so.... yeah... I am still working on it - hence Alpha, you really don't get "Alpha" do you.

Stop being a troll, right now, If you paid any attention to the rest of us you would notice This http://www.datarealms.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=15731, and also, If you read the rules, you would know to put more work nto this, The only thing that I could think of that would happen if your beta tester stole it was to make it better o.0

You have NO idea what Alpha means. At all. You are in Pre-Alpha. As in not worth posting (ignoring the fact you want zero input on this whatsoever anyway).

To spell it out, from our friend wiki:
"Pre-Alpha
-In contrast to alpha and beta versions, the pre-alpha is not feature complete*. When it is used, it refers to all activities performed during the software project prior to software testing. These activities can include requirements analysis, software design, software development and unit testing."

*A feature complete version of a software is not yet final, but contains all intended functionality of the final version.

Alpha = Feature complete.
Beta = Feature complete.

Your whatever-this-is, is not feature complete. Nowhere close, in fact.

♥♥♥♥ someone lock this. It's obvious he doesn't care about anyone's opinion despite the topic title. If he wants this pile of crap to remain a pile of crap, then let him do it on his computer alone.

I'm going to say (Drunkenly) right now, that when you post something here, you submit it to the testing and criticism of the masses. They decide wether It's good or not, not you. Therefore all the criticism you get is because they view it as substandard, and would ENJOY IT MORE if you changed it to what they liked. Do that or leave it. Any more arguements and I'm locking this thread.

Listen, a mod jumped in and stopped the argument. If you're to thick to realize that then you should just leave. The community wasn't harming you in any way. They were trying to tell you what was wrong with your mod. But then again, you play Turok, so I do imagine you have a taste in old games and its nothing special.

Done. And the only people who care about, or who bothered to play your mod either haven't posted or are sharing their thoughts with you. They are the community.
I would like this thread to be unlocked.

Yyyyyeah. Ok. Listen. First. You are a fairly new member. Old members like to bash new members. You need to receive criticism for you to get more and more better.

Just because you think people are "dumber" than you only makes it worse. Please refrain from doing this.
And for the rest of you guys, please give constructive criticism.
Thank you for listening
